This document entitled “Leading a Culture of Safety: A Blueprint for Success” discusses how traditionally in healthcare (and other services) when mistakes are made the focus is mainly on punishing people for mistakes. Culture of safety strategies are used to design a culture of trust and accountability in organizations so that strategies for deeper level problem solving are established to prevent future harm.
