The VA Plans to Overhaul Disability Criteria for Mental Health and Other Conditions

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plans to change its ratings criteria for disabilities including: mental health conditions, sleep apnea and tinnitus. The goal is to improve the review process in order to ensure fair compensation related to veterans’ needs.
