December 3rd was the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The observance of this day was proclaimed by the United Nations in 1992. Since then, the observance of this day aims to promote the understanding of and mobilize supports for disability issues. The theme this year was “Innovation and Transformative Solutions for Inclusive Development”.
