The American Psychological Association (APA) has undertaken association-wide efforts to examine it’s role and that of psychology as a discipline in perpetuating racism. A trio of resolutions was passed to focus on the eradication of racism, which are outlined in the beginning of this report. As a first step to moving forward with those resolutions, the APA conducted an internal inventory examining equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the association. The intent was to help APA better understand its EDI footprint. The complete report includes detailed findings about EDI and the APA.
