The National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI) released “A Guide for Early Childhood Professionals to Support Young Children’s Resilience“. The guide provides information and resources for using the pyramid model to promote social-emotional competence and trauma informed care in early childhood. The guide is designed to help professionals understand both the magnitude and definition of trauma, how trauma relates to behavior, and how the pyramid model can be applied to trauma-informed care.
